Just came up for renewal and Tesco now quote online and they are >£300 cheaper for me than MSM, Autotorque and Peart in case anyone is nearing that dreaded time again ....
definately worth a try...

In case anyones wondering : 36 yrs, Max NCD, 03/GTO 3R / £750 fully comp with protected NCD

Did you go for the standard excess or a higher one?

Mine is due next week, and Tesco are £200 dearer than renewal with NU.... Nu not bad at £1150 with protected NCB for me (30) and the wife (29) for a year old M400. Limited to 4k a year, but I didn't do 4k last year including a trip to Le Mans.

Maybe give AON a ring? My quote for the RS was 1050 for 5k limited mileage, 5 free trackdays and 70 quid a trackday thereafter. I'm 29 (wife 32) and live in the equivalent of Beruit in terms of postcodes.

My limit is too low though, I'm going to exceed it soon

Standard excess (which appears to be variable by policy) ....

I asked Tesco to increase the excess and got a good reduction in the premium.
