Since owning My Noble i've steered clear of using my Karcher. However, following a recent visit to my dealer i noticed that they were cleaning their cars with a jet wash. Does anyone use one on theirs and if so where do avoid direct spraying?
Thanks
Colin
Don't like using them myself but if you must then do avoid the side windows as water WILL get in (and obviously the engine).
I wouldn't. the paint isn't exactly stuck to the GRP well, so is very vulnerable. I took paint off the EVO's bumper with a presure washer, and haven't used one on a nice car since. i do have the luxury of hot tap in the garage though. The wife thinks I'm mad using hot hosepipe to wash the car with!
I've always used a Karcher on all my cars, including the fibreglass bodied ones. A pressure washer is particularly useful for getting the muck out of the arches and road salt off the bottom of the car.
You won't have any problems as long as you have the correct wand attachment. The only thing you should steer clear of are stickers, as these can peel off if you hit them at close range.
