How insurance varies!!

Just been on-line to Privilage.com to check out quotes for the forthcoming renewal in March.

Put in 4 different sinarios and got 4 very different values.

1) All details but no claims or speeding
£720

2) Same but with the recent Chrysler Voyager claim
£870

3) Same but added the SP60 and SP30 from 2 yrs ago
£1200

3) Now added the Noble bump last August.
£1500


Ouch!!! Not sure if I really have to mention the Noble bump as it was a one day one off trackday policy and had nothing to do with my road policy or road liscence.


Not looking forward to renewal day now! But hopefully some caling around will make a huge difference.

try A-Plan, on my subaru they were £400 cheaper than most... soz not got the number here tho...

Greg - think you may have to declare it. I had an 'incident' at Oulton about 5 years ago in my Elise, and despite making exactly the same arguments as you have done, I was told by my insurers that it still has to 'count' (for 3 years). Records/computers make tracing these v simple -so just not worth it IMO.
