1.what would be the servicing costs for approx 10k per year not inc tyres
2. what sort of mpg is had taking it easy?i know there a sports car but dont want 10mpg taking it easy or 3r
3.is a gto 2.5 much worse than a 3r as they have no lsd
4.do the engines and boxes go pop like tvr? i dont want and cant afford that

Awesome cars, awesome owners (!) you won't regret owning one. I have had an M3, Scooby, Elise, test driven a couple of 911s... and nothing comes close to the all round pleasure of driving a Noble. I have had my M12 GTO3 for nearly 3 years from new which is a personal record for me to be faithful to one car - no regrets, even the missus stops me from selling it.
joust, should i expect any problems with a 03 reg gto? were your problems due to early teething troubles? i couldnt afford some of those bills youve had there?and are ther any specialists which offer decent cheaper services which still have credibility on a service book?
cheers for the info peeps

i have a late (nov) 02 gto3.
The non-lsd diff can be a bit weak, but a lot of people have had no problems. I killed mine, but my car isnt standard.
Faulks Performance and also plans motorsport seem to be the 2 non authorised places with good reps.( around £30/hour cheaper.)
with the early 3's, just check for fan upgrade, track sump, if you ever want to track the car.
If you worried about getting hit with big bills, you can buy a warrenty.

Assuming all the "upgrades" have been done, then you should be fine. After all of the issues I had I then managed a whole year / 10,000 miles of running that just cost the servicing, and you very rarely hear of any significant issues nowdays on this forum.
Plans, Vegantune and Roush are three servicing centres that can work out cheaper, but remember this is a £50,000 car and so servicing will never be "cheap".
