Le Mans - property

I'm off to France next week to look at a house 30 mins from Le Mans.... holiday home for now but possible full time pad in years to come. It has 80 acres so plenty of room for playing

Anyone on here invested in property in France (specifically in the Vendee region) recently? I'd appreciate any tips on buying there. I've got a place in Spain but I think the laws are different in France!?!

As you are new at the factory, you won't know that I'm in fact a test driver for Lee. Would you pop into Lee's office and nick the keys for me on June 14th? If he spots you, just tell him agent goodlife is going to borrow the M15 for Le Mans. He wont mind at all.
