Hi,
I decided to put my GTO3 on the rolling road at John Noble Motorsport this week (booked for Thursday). There is nothing wrong with it (as far as I know), but have always had a niggle in the back of my mind about the cats having seen a few people post about these breaking up. It has just got through it's first MOT but it was marginal on emissions.

Can anybody think of anything I should be asking them to do/check ?
Has anybody got a plot for a "standard" GTO3 from the same rolling road to compare ?

Thanks,
Rob.

make sure the car has plenty of oil and water in it
make sure the tyre pressures are ok and equal both sides
make sure the intercooler gets plenty of air

you want a print out of Power at the wheels
and a print out of estimated fly power

most cars make more power at the wheels in 3rd gear than they do in 4th
make a note of the gear that the car is tested in

Hope this helps

If anybody is interested, this is what my completely standard GTO3 made on the JNM Rolling Road. I wasn't there when they did it (had to go to work), but I thought this was pretty good given I got the impression they didn't bother with the fans etc. When I picked it up they thought it would easily be meeting standard on the road with normal airflow.
