Ash,

Took the liberty of taking washy out in the car this morning and I quote "Ash's car is mega!! I'm sure he'll be well chuffed."

That convinced him even more to buy the exhaust which we're fitting today. He loved the sound!!

We did some quick noise measurements and found that it's slightly quieter than the standard at idle of 83.5 dBA vs 85 dBA for the std system, and at 4500rpm static, it's 99 dBA vs 97 dBA for the std system.

See you this evening.

Trevor

CAN I HAVE HER TONIGHT.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE!

Meeting Alex at Kings Cross about 5, got a room booked at the Hotel Campanile Basildon.

Graham does not like curry, Alex is similar, I can eat anything.

What do you think, meet, collect M400 and park it at the hotel and then eat?

Can't wait my exhaust from Rousch is also being fitted as we speak along with new manifolds (Noble supplied dual skinned ones) and the fuel pump and extra wireing

With std. exhaust and before the old manifolds blew it was producning 361 BHP - so will have to see....

Looks fine for most circuits other than Goodwood (98dBA static). Personnally not that fussed about Goodwood.
Any other details, Trevor? Fuel pump upgrade as well for the M400? Maybe you can post/e-mail me costs for the whole system?
Thanks
Rob

Trevor, if I slip you a brown envelope, can you hobble Washy's car please. Don't want him having even more acceleration on track

So what's the score here? I thought the power increases in the M400 were marginal? Trevor..?

Good to see you guys tonight, The exhaust looks great and Ash had a silly grin all night, think it started because of the test drive in his car and at the end of the evening it think it might have been the John Smiths!!
I am also impressed how much trevor can eat!!!! Trevor why are you not a Fat Bloke like me??
Every time i meet up with Graham, he has some new ideas for the car, which i know will cost me money, but some very interesting things coming out of Noblemods soon.....
Look forward to the next meet.

Just goes to prove that Noble owners (and Trevor) are a good bunch

You see this is what gets me. I moved the M400 on late last year and have a deposit on an M15 but each time I see mails about the way these things can be tweaked I keep thinking about buying a year old M400 again and starting to play!!!!!

DanH,

You're too late, mate. You're history!

alex s

Food intake is limited to times when I go out I am a Fat Bloke really, just over-tall!!

robp

The power increases don't look much in the figures, but you really have to understand the shape of the curve to understand the silly grin factor.

Good to meet up with Alex, Trevor and Ash again last night. It was an great evening although I was a bit uncomfortable sitting in the Jeep for 45 minutes on the way home after that sticky chocy pudding thing

And where was Trevor packing it in ??? - The only guy in the restaurant with a clean plate !!

I think we need to rename some smilies:

Ash -
Trevor -
Alex -

Well at least he has stickier tyres than me so I can blame that if he makes me look silly on track

edit : I've got some bananas to shove up his exhaust pipes now too.
