warped discs

Has anybody experienced warped discs after 3500 miles?Mole Valley have said replacements not covered under warranty!Spoke to Noble who confirmed NO!
Does this mean i should reckon to replace my discs every 3500 miles or so?
I think this is outrageous!
INspite of this enjoying my M400 enormously,having watched Paul on monday at Brands very tempted to get envolved in the MESC series!What a great atmostphere and fun racing!
Anybody planning any trackdays,would be good to meet up with other Nobles in the south east.

They may not be warped just because they're vibrating.

Find your own private race track () and do some 100+ - 0 mph stops in a very aggresive fashion, and it may just cure your problem.

Grabbing is very common. As Martin says, 4 or 5 100-0 runs will normally sort it out.

Discs are incredibly cheap although, but they are rather easy to cause grabbing on if you aren't totally religous about giving them enough time to cool down.

Have the dealer, the factory, or anyone you trust with a dial gauge, check the hubs for run out. My 3,000 mile old M400 was giving me 'disk warp' problems and it all came down to two of the hubs having to much run out. These were replaced on Saturday and after a day of Silverstone GP today I can report all is now well!

See how you go. If they seem to pull up in an uneven fashion anytime soon get those hubs checked!!!

And boys, it's 100-10mph stops. Never full stop on hot brakes and warm the brakes up with a few less agressive braking applications first too. Oh, and then cool 'em down before parking up as Joust said.

Mine did it. The REARS apparently had gone out of true when the handbrake had been left on in the rain by the dealer. went back about a month after I bought it (with about 2000 miles on), and the dealer said that there was nothing wrong! Went to factory, and they sorted it all out. I don't know why, but I do seem good at warping discs, EVO went through about 4 sets, Escort cracked the drilled 330mm AP's around the holes so much, that i had to replace them, and the Noble has had front and rears replaced to sort the problem out.

Changing the disks sounds like a heavy-handed (and lucrative for MV) approach; there should be lots of less expensive options to try first. My SL55 has done 20k miles on its original set... good disks don't wear that quick, and "warping" is very rarely - if ever - actually that.
