Paint repairs turning into a respray!

Two years of ownership, a couple of track days and plenty dings with supermarket trolleys have left the paintwork in a bit of a state. I'm shopping around for quotes at the moment but the general feeling is that with the amount of work that needs doing I may as well go the whole distance and get a respray. Circa £3000-£5000. Getting the wheels done at the same time gives me more options.

The world is my oyster in terms of colour choice but with the magnolia interior I'm thinking what colour choices will really work.

Current colour is Indigo Blue which is renowned for showing up every swirl mark and scratch.

Your thoughts please ? ................................

Estoril blue, alot lighter and nice in sunlight Looks pretty crap on BMW M3's in my opinion though... looks great on t'Cerb, would look good on a Noble I reckon.

If they're not painting absolutely everything then IMO don't change the colour.

£3k - £5k *gulp* - so glad my Unc is a competition winning car painter and nice and cheap for his Nephew too!!!

Speak to Graham at Plans, they use 355 paintshop who are mainly a motorsports painter but they've quoted me less than you're allowing and that's for a front and rear clam repair and full respray.

That looks expensive to me (based on experience of having TVR's resprayed!)

Front clam would be approx £450 to £600 depending on where you go. Probably a bit more for the rear clam - say £800. Doors, roof and sills etc should be around the same. Throw in a bit of "contingency" fund and I would say between £2.5k and £3.5k is about right.
