Speedo stopped

After having the car washed, the speedo has stopped.

I have had a hair dryer on the sensor, driven like a mad man to heat up the brakes.

Still not working!

I know this has happened to others and have been tole it will start working once it has dried out.

How long does this take?

I think that the speedo has stopped as a result of the new exhaust. It is literally exhausted

Mine never started working again. I have no idea why they seem to be such a common fault as the part is used in other cars.

You most likely need to buy a new sensor. Cost me a fortune on my car as the sensor had been changed by noble so the upright had to be redrilled to accomodate it (larger sensor).
