Our USA cousins are doing well in the week long One Lap of America timetrial; Derek 1st, Chris 2nd and Drew 8th in class with just 2 days to go.

Here is the crash video from VIR and the "recovery" at Road America. I take my hands of the wheel at RA when I think I'm going to hit the wall. After a spin, I realize I'm still on the track so I try to save it.

Dear All,
Derek, who came first in the USA One Lap of America was banned from PH for having an argument with Matt. Whilst its pretty obvious to everyone that I have an enormous bias and loyalty for Matt I think given Derek's acheivements we ought to ask Ted to let him back. Otehrwise I'll have to keep on doing all this cross posting which is a real bore.
First video I know of of a crash from inside a Noble. Look at that turn, uphill approach, blind apex, adverse camber, ditch on the right, bloody narrow track. The man deserves respect.

FYI, the statistics for this event were just published in the U.S.
Including:
--Total cars starting: 84
--Total cars finishing: 76
--Length of event: 8 days
--Total miles driven: 3932 (longer than the Tour de France
)
--Competition events: 10
--Timed events: 17
--Total # of U.S. states: 18
And after all of that, the 2 Nobles that started finished in the top 10 overall with Derek's M400 being a class winner! An Ultima also finished in the top 10 (2nd in its class).
So UK motors and Lee Noble acquitted themselves well in the 23rd running of this unique automotive happening.

Yeah come on that was a little harsh IMHO, particularly as this seems to be a common thread!
