Hi chaps, I've been a Noble admirer for a while but I think the day of purchase is now looming fast. I have seen a 2002 M12 with only 3000 miles on the clock which initially sounded attractive but the more I've thought about it the more I think it is too low. I'm thinking it hasn't covered enough miles to realise any issues it may have - what do you experts think?

I think it's a crying shame that a drivers car has only done 750 miles a year for 4 years!
If it's genuine then you should be fine.

Martin.

Tried to e-mail you, can you e-mail me regarding this post. There are a few things you need to know which I shouldn't say on here.

Funnily enough I went from a black M3 to an M12. I sold my M3 to a friend who also has an Yamaha R1 and about a year later I got a chance to swap back. I loved the M3 and it was still an awesome car, but just dull compared to the M12. As for my biker friend he thought the M12 was the closet way a driver could have as much fun as a rider on the road.

As for the mileage, I am ashamed by my paltry 13,000 in 3 years so 3,000 in 4 makes me feel a whole lot better, but then I have never kept a car as long as I have the M12. The previous owner was either one of two people:

1) Someone who loved his motor too much to part with it with when he obvioulsy didn't need it - indicating a low milegae well cared for car.

or

2) Had more money than sense, used the car when the whim took him (or her) and thrashed the nuts off just one of his many play things.

As far as I am aware there are no evil Noble drivers (it is against the code!) and you are safe...

Martin

The Uxbridge thing was a shock, I always assumed you avoided our crap weather

Let me know when you are next in town.

P.S. Should I really be lining up a beer with someone who admits to being evil
