Engine won't play the game!

My Noble M12 sits at the road side & just won't start - anyone got any ideas?
I've had the car about a month now & it's still one of the best things I've owned (or rather the bank loan owned!), despite me currently sitting waiting for the AA to pitch up.
A few weeks ago it stuttered for about a quarter of a mile & then ran fine & has done since.
But today as I pulled into a petrol station & it cut out. It did turn over a few times & run for a few seconds, but then spluttered out & not a peep since. Yes, before you ask... it has got fuel in it & had plenty before I stopped.
I've checked under the throttle body to see if there are any loose pipes, but as I don't know these units very well, I'm not sure what's supposed to be on & what's not.
Has anyone got any suggestions?

The M12 spent a few days at Mole Valley & as it turns out it was the fuel pump in the end!
The chaps there also fixed a problem I'd been having with the handbrake. Apparently the handbrake works on a slightly different system to the disc brakes. I'm sure they said it was a drum, but didn't quite understand why you'd have both.
Anyhoo, I'm back on the road & the suns out, so I'm a happy man!

Almost all cars use a drum brake for the handbrake. There are a few exceptions - IIRC the Gallardo has as secondary rear calliper for the handbrake.
On the topic of handbrake, is this correct?
If the do have a secondary one, then why was I told never to use mine when the brakes are hot.
I actually never use the handbrake, (except for hill starts etc) but the main reason for this it to avoid warping the discs and having it stick after extended stays in the garage.
Am I doing all this for nothing?

My handbrake was fixed by Mole Valley Noble. They were really helpful & I'm sure they'll be willing to answer your question on this. Their number is 02083941114, if you're that interested.
They never discussed this with me when I collected it too me & wondered if the previous owner had been driving around with it on all the time.... Careful lady owner...hmmm!
