Vegantune - long range tank

I think I read about someone with a long range tank - doing the One Lap of America?

Details please of the tank.

Paul - Will got one for the Gumball 3000.

I checked it out on the rally and it doubled the tank size. The extra size took up the area behind the drivers seat. The finish - on the inside of the car was not compromised.

I was there when they did the fitting of the tank a few weeks back, very nice job indeed.

If I'd not had my battery relocated I'd have had it fitted myself.

has anyone been able to extend the existing tank by a smaller amount ? say 20 litres perhaps into the area above the fuel pump ?

No need, it is easier to extend it vertically. Also putting the fuel pump inside the tank would solve the "NOT GETTING THE LAST QUARTER" problem.

Just imagine the space behind the drivers seat with it back as far as it will go.
