Track Day today at Castle Combe
Discussion
I had a lot of fun today at Castle Combe - however it wasn't in a Noble
There were plenty of different cars there today - my favorite was a 1972 Davin (is that how you spell it ?) that was fitted with a Honda Civic Type R engine it was awesome on track and showed all the new cars how its is done
there were plenty of fords and Volkswagons there too and some old school MK2 escorts that were very nimble on the track
I was drving a track prepared mk 3 fiesta that was wearing a set of slicks and the cornering and braking was just amazing !! - it needed a bit of attention at one stage and my laptop came out to cure the running fault - crikey it was difficult trying to map a car whilst it was caught up in the traffic and hustle and bustle of a track day ( i was the passenger !! ) - I kept feeling ill whilst the car was twisting and diving into the corners - I actually thought i was going to be sick at one stage !!
Does any one on here do any sprinting / hill climbing ? - do I need a race license to take part ?
