Annoying exhaust vibration!

My exhaust vibrates horribly (I think against the rear splitter but I can't be sure) when it gets hot (cool and it's fine). I've had a quick look around to check bits that might be displaced and the dodgy exhaust bracket that everyone seems to have trouble with, but there's nothing obviously wrong.
Has anyone else experienced this?

P.S. This only relates to the right hand exhaust pipe.

Do your pipes look level - ie: symetrical?

Are you sure it's not a baffle plate come loose inside the box? Mine was.
Right hand would suggest it is not a bracket problem. (I assume right from the rear,i.e. offside).
Look at the turbo, make sure all bolts are tight. If yes, check that the hangaers, including the rubbers "A" have not moved and "B" the rubber mounts are not worn.
If the above is ok, then suspect the box is bust. New exhaust.

If it is nearside differnet story.

Baffles are normally the other way around, rattle when cold, goes away when warm....
I'd suspect the metal turbo covers - the only way really is to get someone in the car reving it and wander around with your ear on the end of a long screwdriver and put it on things in the engine bay - it'll become very obvious what it is when you find it!

Mine did it when hot, as the box just increased in depth alowing the centre baffle to squeak like a little piggy, after the welds broke a third time I almosht took a very large fine tuning tool to it to permanently reduce the depth... but shortly after one of the manifolds blew, so the whole system got junked - seems like a long time ago that I had the whole chocolate exhaust system replaced...
I've finally take the time to look at this a bit more - I think the rattle is coming from inside the box on passenger side (when you hold a spanner to it while it's rattling you can fell the rattle going through the spannner, and it doesn't seem to happen anywhere else.
Does anybody know, if it is the baffle, how easy/quick it is to fix (assuming it's someone the knows what they are doing)?

Erm, that did it.....
I got so sick of it rattling in traffic that I hammered it till it stopped. The box is pretty old anyway so I wouldn't be surprised if a replacement was due at some point soon - so my superb mechanical skills win the day again!

Probably squished the casing onto the baffle. Unorthodox, but I like it I got so sick of it rattling in traffic that I hammered it till it stopped. The box is pretty old anyway so I wouldn't be surprised if a replacement was due at some point soon - so my superb mechanical skills win the day again!
