Spotted a silver noble, with the plate M400 something on the M25 sunday having a good blast along.

Wondering if it was anyone from here, and if it really is an M400? Lovely looking car

Might have been my old one 'M400 BYE' - chap who bought it lives in London.

Don't recall it being BYE but maybe, the driver was certainly enjoying it anyway.

Hi Dave,

It could have been me (although mine's grey).

Was it around 1-1:30pm heading clockwise somewhere between Enfield and the Dartford crossing? And were you behind me in the RB5 Impreza?

Conrad.

Hi, That was me, just after the traffic jam. (been on holiday for 3 weeks tho so not checked this).

Lovely looking car on the road, and I had a bit of fun. You were probably just cruising along though

Is it an M400? and is that what the orange badge on the drivers side rear is?

Hi Dave,

After the roadworks I was a bit late for a cricket match, so was a good excuse to trundle along a bit.

I have to say that I noticed your Impreza certainly goes well - is it modified by any chance? I think the RB5 is the best looking one IMHO. I was disappointed you turned off so soon.

In answer to your question, yes it is an M400. You're right, the red badge on the back does say M400 (as opposed to 3 or 3R):-

Anyway, it was good to see another nice car brightening up the M25.

All the best,

Conrad.

Thanks for the comment Yes i've had quite a bit done to it over the years, glad you had a bit of fun on the way also.

Learned a bit more about nobles now though after seeing yours... Quite tempted to go out for a test drive of a 3R now though, and i've only just managed to get the thought of a tvr out of my head!

Regards
Dave

Go for the test drive - you won't regret it (although you may end up getting one)!

The other thing I did was to have a go on track in one. X-Factor run a couple of GTO3s which are kept in extremely good condition. I can highly recommend them. We did an airfield day near Oxford with them and thoroughly enjoyed it. Had about 25 laps in the Noble and 5 in their Focus racecar (which was surprisingly quick). You could have more laps in the Focus but I wanted more in the Noble. Details are on their website:

Steve Swann was the guy we spoke to.

Hope this helps

Conrad.
