Very good question! Lee........?

Apparently, Noble are going to try to get type approval on the M15 so they can sell it worldwide, this unfortunatly means airbags and stuff and there are not so many "part bin" s/wheels to choose from in that case. Not sure if this is the real reason, but its one that I think could be true.

I am sure there must be prettier ones available though!

well, considering how quickly the M10, M12 2.5, M12 3, M12 3R, M400 succession proceeded one could argue they took a bit more time over the "third" album...and it ain't finished yet.

As Greg said, the wheel makes type approval easy, and if you look at the number of Ford OEM components it's clear Noble have a healthy relationship with Ford so I presume Noble don't have the time trying to get similar good relationship pricing on alternative manufacturers.

Also, it is exceptionally tactile. Read my review at www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic. for some more details.

It's not the prettiest thing, but it's certainly effective.

M10 to M12 was only 2 years (M10 1999, M12 2001), so it's certainly taking it's time!
