Hi

I'm toying with the idea of changing my current car, which is an Esprit V8 for an M12-3 or 3R. I was wondering if anyone else has made this change ? I've owned 4 esprits over the last 12 years so it's going to be a bit of a difficult decision. I've got a test drive in a 3R at the weekend.

I'd welcome any comments

Cheers

Adrian

I can not wait for your comments once you have test driven the Noble.

Take your cheque book with you.

Trust me, once driven, forever smitten.

I'll tell you what I think then !!!

As I say, I'm just thinking about it at the moment, but the last time I got the idea in my head to change my last Esprit (GT3) it took 2 days for me to buy another one (V8).

The Esprit is a fine car, and via my brother, I was luck enough to drive 3 of them.

However, the Noble is the car-that-lotus-should-have-built-after-the-esprit. Think of it as a new Esprit, and you won't be far off.

Lee seems to out-Chapman Chapman's boys.

Justin is right, l changed from a V8 Esprit and never regretted.
It really is what a new Esprit should have been.

If he does then he is not driving properly.

In late 2003 I was toying with either continuing with my deposit for an Exige II or buying a nearly new Esprit. Then the boys at Williams in Bristol said Chris you've got to try the Noble. I did.

If Colin Chapman is looking down from on high then there is no question that whilst his head is in Hethel his heart has migrated West to Barwell. Noble are a worthy successor to Chapman's Crown. All we now want is a Le Mans entry.

I think brown sauce, maybe some tartar?

Don't eat for a week, I think it will be quite filling
