Got a friend who's been running these on his GT3 RS for several months now. He's very pleased with the so far.

He's been testing them hard on kerbs too, and so far no problems, although I think he finally managed to take a chip out of one.

Think they are about 6k though

Porsche tax (not to mention the porker ones are bigger).

These are one of those technologies I'm happy to let other people act as guinea pigs for. The whole shattering aspect as well as the cost. They do look better on the Noble than the RS though, that's for sure.

Paul can you feel the decrease in rotating mass, and better suspension response?

I took the ceramic brakes off my car and replaced them with steels and despite a huge weight increase I can't really claim to be able to tell any difference!

Actually Flemke claims it is noticeable. Tell you what though, the main weight saving from ceramics is from the constant wallet lightening

Actually Flemke claims it is noticeable. Tell you what though, the main weight saving from ceramics is from the constant wallet lightening

Going from stock to these you'd have to be de-cerebrate to not notice. They are approx half the weight of the stock wheels which is a saving of 25kg real weight, equivalent to 75kg of the car. Acceleration and braking are noticeably different and the steering gets faster and sharper as well. Not only that they look fantastic and if you look carefully theres room for even bigger brakes.

Unfortunately they came in slightly the wrong black, I wanted the deep OZ racing black and there are a couple of development points that need to be finalised so they are back to Dymag but will be back in time for Donington.
