Just to second that. I've done LOTs of track days at Elvington, and would want to know that if the worst happended I'd be in hospital ASAP. I'm not normally one for giving to charity, but this seemed to strike home with me. anyway, £35k and climbing can't be bad. Can we just make sure that helicopter gets a PH sticker on it somewhere.

As someone who used to be at the pointy end of these now called RTC's (RTA's to us oldies!) I cannot praise these guys enough. They put the helicopter into places I wouldn't get a toy one and believe me when you get a serious prang they along with the Ambulance paramedics do a brilliant job. All credit to them and may they be always available

On the news yesterday they said that a £50k donation has proved to be a hoax. Don't know if its the £50k referred to in earlier threads or a different one.
