Hello there!
Firstly I'm new to all this and secondly I'm already wanting something from you all!!!
Story goes...My brother is trading in his M3 and looking at Noble M12's...not being very computer literate he's asked good old little sis to find out the spec difference between the 2.5litre and the 3litre...I've scoured the net as much as I can whilst here at work and can't find anything. So decided to ask the people who are bound to know!!!
If anyone could let me know this info it would be much appreciated!!!
Cheers!!

There's not that much difference between the 2.5 and the 3 other than the engine spec. It's only in the 3r that the real changes start. Unfortunately it's rather car dependent in that both models can have had loads or little done to them. Performance wise is very similar too. 3 had more grunt but also more weight.
M3 spec is...Excuse my spelling!
52 Plate
3.2 litre
0-60 in roughly 5
Estral Blue

If a 3r is too much then your looking at the diff between GTO and GTO3. Either is great but I would try to find one that has LSD and 6spd box. Track sump can go on later for not too much money. If he is looking at a 2.5 then LSD and ECU upgrade are the things to look for.

Thank you all...have passed all the info on and he is sifting his way through it now. Believe he is going to look at a couple early part of next week :-)
Everyone keeps saying how unreliable Nobles are...not that he'll be using it on a day to day basis...but is this fact or fiction made up by people who can't afford to have one?!!

I've had mine for 1 year now and its covered 34k miles. i've done about 6k in all conditions.
It's never let me down and still feels solid and well put together.
I had a cat (£500 ish) and the front radiator changed (£960 under warranty) during the last service so that was expensive. I don't expect next years service to be as much though.
So from my experience the car has been 100% reliable but I was stung with servicing costs.
