Well as the track day has been sadly cancelled, how do people feel about a meet up...bit of a hoon, good food and a chance to meet other owners and generally talk B*llocks.
I know from Sat night there was quite a few of us interested in doing this.

So I was thinking of a Sat, and if people want to make a day of it, stay in a nice hotel on the Sat night.
Mid November..... North of London (but not much, as most owners seem to be south of watford gap)
So anyone interested before I do anymore thinking on this...
In tunnel run style, just quote and add your name.
Cheers
Alex

Have a few ideas in mind...all depends on the numbers really.

MK could be a possible meet point.

Would depend on the date for me. Just booked up Bedford for the 4th Nov and think I may have a friend over from Hong Kong on the owners day weekend. Still, I guess he could come too.

I really fancy the idea of carting if we do it...remember having been once a few years back and had a great time.

This one looks like a good way to do it. Meet somewhere at 12 pm for a pub lunch, then go and do the karting. Teams of 2 picked out of a het at lunch.

All those in favour for doing this on the same day as the owners day say "I"

Daytona site says said:
Daytona 90
Held each Saturday @ 11am & 2pm.
Perfect for stag and hen groups.A 90 minute endurance race in teams of 2-4 drivers with 20 minutes practice

This would be perfect and will cost about £80 each.

Can't do 11 November but could be up for it later in the month.
Don't mind karting as long as I get the one with four engines !

Greg...any chance we could just get an idea of who wants to come and when before spending money and arranging specifics... I dont want to exclude owners who just want to meet , drive their cars and have a chat and maybe some food.
Once we have an idea of who is interested...then we can do a quick poll of what to do, cost etc.
I think the reason the track day didnt catch on was the venue, time of year (and weather)and cost possibly. Also quite a few people will want to bring other halfs etc.
