Met my old 3R at V-Max

Stopped for fuel on the way to V-Max yesterday and into the petrol station rolls a 3R just like my old one. Introduced myself to the owner James - "I used to have just like that"... After some poking about, it transpires that it IS my old 3R! Amazing coincidence. We convoyed up to V-max. Great to see it is owned by such a nice chap :-)

I also met james yesterday, he was kind enough to take me out for a spin & as we were chatting it turned out i'd been looking at buying this very car in my local dealer last year!

Danny, i also remember watching the car on 'topdog m&m'? reading the thread when you picked it up, and when you offered the nearest person to you a ride one afternoon!

Danny / Phil it was great to meet you both at V-Max yesterday. That was so spooky bumping into the original owner of my car; to explain to the readers, it’s had a change of plate which is why it wasn't obvious.

I absolutely loved V-Max, such a friendly bunch of people. I’ll definitely be back for more.

Oh and Danny, I think I improved on your best top speed in the 3R with a 161mph through the trap, with Phil in the passenger seat
