The engine (big stereo) is in fact a Roush/Mountune race engine Producing 500+BHP with the torque pegged at 430 lbs to ensure gearbox survival.

Turbo’s are T25RS and the torque curve is nearly vertical.

Also using a Pro Alloy dual core intercooler.

Running 2.75 degrees wheel camber again Roush.

And it all drives brilliantly.

Adrian took me for a drive the other day. Had to see the dentist the next day as all my fillings got lodged in the back of my throat!

I think he could scare a jet fighter pilot! eek

Nice work Adrian!!

I thought an M400 is booked at 185Mph. The 180mph for the 3R is interesting.

Adrian I assume its the gearing. Got any pics of the dyno plots.

Was that you seeing off the gaylardo.

An actual 165-170 on a good day, at Brunters hit the rev limiter at 180.

Phil has the same spec engine. It's him doing the Lambo

I think Justin has a plot he could post.

Sorry I haven't here but from memory it was 508bhp, torque was up but after a lot of head scratching it turned out it was producing about 5% wheelspin all the way up.

Oh.............it was a warm day 22*C ambient

if it was slipping - then you are not making full power - i suggest you get it tested on a proper rolling road to see what it is really making

it only peaks at 17 psi and holds just under a bar !! man those turbo's should run 1.5 bar all day long - are you keeping the boost down to protect the gearbox ?

awesome performance - the interesting thing is you are running smaller turbo's than a M400 !!

perhaps we should call your car an M500 ?

Look at the back of our cars (for a very short time) and weep

Check out how much power on only 0.5 bar boost.

It makes most interesting cars dull, and milkfloat like.

Start saving chaps....

It wasn't slipping, we sorted that.

I believe Adrian stated that at the start.

They do spool up rather quicker that standard . Lighter flywheel helps too.

Good. That's stage 1 completed. Next we're....ah but that'd be telling

This might be of interest:

Formula Palmer Audi Autumn Trophy - www.motorsportvision.co.uk/resources/MSVRNovSN/ - it's at Snetterton this weekend.

I'll be there in my M400, testing on Friday and doing two races on Sunday (Sports Cars & GTs).

There are a few extras on my M400 which include a Mountune race engine, Roush exhaust and Pro Alloy IC. Weather permitting I should be running on slicks.

All are welcome to come and watch.
