Noble Christmas Tree

OK, although this has nothing to do with cars, I wonder whether anyone can help on this slightly strange request.

Basically, we were out looking at Christmas trees today, looking for a suitable candidate to buy as a pot-grown (i.e. alive and will hopefully grow for many years if potted up into a large pot) Christmas Tree.

A few varieties were available in pots (Nordmann Fir, Various Spruce), but the wider variety were only available as cut trees. One of these was what we thought the ideal tree - it was the (appropriately named):

Noble Fir.

Only touble is that it seems to only be available as a cut tree from our local garden centres etc..

So.. (I know it's a long shot) does anyone know where I may be able to get a live pot grown Noble Fir of say 4 - 5 foot either locally (say within 40 - 50 miles of North West London), or delivered??

Yes, tell me about it.

My better half wants one in a large pot to keep outside (so it doesn't matter how early we get it). She's found the pot and so now we're looking for the tree.

I'd much rather have been at the owners' meet, but unfortunately the car's a bit "uncle dick" at the moment

You need to put your foot down with a firm hand then. Tell the missus the tree should not go up until Christmas eve.

I had a Noble fir last year!! Thought it rather apt for me.

Try calling Scotsdales in Cambridge. They will most probably be having them in again.

Must say that I do prefer the look of them to the trad. norwiegan fir, but they don't have that Crhristmas smell. I'm getting the standard one this year as its all about the smell when you come home from work in December!
