Evening Hollowpockets.....twas' me in said M400 this morning! After 5 minutes at work I decided that a little jaunt out into town would be a more suitable way of spending my time, and besides the M400 had been sitting unused for the last fortnight plus and she needed a warm up. In fact now I look at your profile, I recognise you from the photograph of your T350C - You may recall that I pulled up next to you on the Boulevard in late July / early August - this time in my Griffith 500, one you can't fail to remember, as it's in Giallo Fly Yellow!
Hi Jamie...I see that, and with an almost identical one - if NOT identical! We've both gone for larch silver....mine is with black alcantara - so let's hope we don't get up to any mischief and get mistaken for one another then! (as has happened with me in the past, when it actually WASN'T me there, if you get my drift!). Not seen you on the road at all - do you take her out much then? Shaun+
Hey Shaun,
I have a Titanium Silver. Was out for a blast to Aboyne yesterday with the wife in fact.
The 3R was written off in Dec 2004. Not my fault. I got a new M400 from the 3rd Party insurance though! Surprised you don't remember as the P&J decided to put me on page 3 of the next mornings paper with Reg No and address - the lot! Had 2 months off work with my injuries.
The 3R and the M400 was bought at PSSC. Gerald was the salesman but I think he has left now.
Look forward to meeting up soon.

Hi Jamie.....much as I like the P&J as a good read, irritatingly enough I never seem to get the time to buy it and find the 90 mins or so it would take cover to cover, on a regular enough basis! Therefore I didn't see the piece, and as I wasn't an 'owner' then (my first M12 arrived in May 2005) I guess nobody who did see it thought to pass it on to me! So the other drivers insurance coughed up then....and for an M400 too, can't be bad. I have mine out this weekend, hence the post elsewhere where someone said it was spotted 'down the harbour'
(not what you want to be reading really, but then again I do work (and store it) down there
so it's all very innocent - highly plausible in fact! Yesterday I took my son to football at Westhill, and came up from town past the ARI and onto The LangStracht, where a young girl in a black 306 decided it would be fun to ride next to me towards the point where the road goes from two lanes into one..... end result was me putting my foot down a tad too much in third (so nothing daft then) and me giving the M400 some serious wobble from the rear (the son loved it) and putting the fear of God into said 306 driver! Funnily enough she backed off and gave me a very wide berth after that!
Gerald was my salesman initially too, but he's away to an Aston dealer I believe, so it's been David I've dealt with since. A bit of a chequered experience I have to say - but I'll tell you all when we meet, not fair to post details here, as to be honest when they have lashed up, they have at least tried to put things right for me - with varying degrees of success!
Anyway, I'm away to drive my M400 from home to warehouse soon to get it out of this horrific weather, having learned a lesson with my M12 that they are not the sort of car you leave outside for winter!
Speak later - I've dropped you my work e mail on another thread.

P&J?
I'd say it was Aberdeens press and journal

Ah the Oggsmeister - very, very astute of you. In the immortal words of one Michael Caine, and if you're not Scottish based 'Not a lot of people know that'.....
So which of the Hoons are you opting for in 2007 then? I believe the official announcement will be made this week as to actual dates, schedules, routes etc.?
Hope you and your Chimaera are keeping well!

hey shaun, yes i do remember saying hi when you were in the Griffith, lovely car, as is the noble. hope your enjoying it, although the roads are a bit pap this time of year!
Hello again Graham.....too darn true, was out in the M400 this weekend trying to keep her warmed through and mobile, and what a shocker yesterday was. Dark by just gone half two and rain all 'afternoon' and evening thereafter, with high winds thrown in for good measure. Not the best conditions for driving at all, but I've still decided to run the M400 down to Derby tomorrow to get my central locking issues sorted, even though I'm sure Checkpoint on George Street would do just as good a job. Any excuse to drive 800 miles in two days eh? I'll catch up with you soon I'm sure......you not considered the Hoons on offer though, check out www.pistonheads.com/gassing/forum.asp?f=131 for details - well worth thinking about!
