TVR Centre gone bust!
Discussion
Just had a letter today from the TVR centre stating that they have liquefied!! My every sympathy to Giles and his team, their dealings with me were always exceptional, and I can only hope someone can bail them out, on a more worrying note, could this be the beginning of the end for more TVR/Noble franchises?

Liquidated, surely. If they'd liquefied I'd be over there with a camera, quick!
Shit. This is not good.
Are they likely to shut down imminently?
If so, any idea when are they shutting down?
In fact any idea what the proposed plans are at all?
I recieved no letter...
These guys are always my first port of call... uh oh.

A shame! I purchased my second TVR from Giles directly in 1986 but since them have moved onto a faster, more agile marque!

I purchased my second Noble (M400) from Giles in 2005 and havn't moved on to a faster, more agile marque
As Conrad said - normal (excellent) service at NL will be resumed.

Totally shocked and gutted for all involved, the biggest TVR dealer in Europe,TVR through and through.I bought my Noble from them last summer and am on the list for the new model with them.My dealings with Giles and Mark were always totally straight fair and humorous, exactly how it should be. As for Martin, Phil, Skippy and the other staff, I simply can't praise them high enough. I sincerely hope it sorts itself to the satisfaction of all.In a land of distinctly average car dealers, such a good proffesional outfit didn't deserve this.

Giles - sorry to hear that mate.
Hmm I wonder how that'll affect the deposit I placed on the M15...

That would rather depend who was holding it. If it was Giles, you may have a problem.
I spoke to Giles on Friday and our deposits are with Noble so ought to be ok.

sorry but if you sell crap products you end up in the crap
This guy hates Nobles so much he keeps posting here and reading the forum?!?
The Ferrari boys/girls (who all seem to be perfectly welcoming and reasonable) must've stopped talking to him. Not bloody surprised.....
However, much as I can't stand the guy he is correct in a small way. TVR have been ball-bashed over quite a prolonged period rightly (or wrongly - never owned one myself) regarding their reliability, build quality and the general hassles you get with ownership - maybe this and the fact that TVR are no longer British-owned, have no British presence in terms of factory and the negative feedback from owners has had an effect on the buying public.
Still a big shame in my opinion.

Are you schizophrenic?
Sometimes you can (on the odd occasion) say something fairly normal and constructive. Then most of the time you are a complete PR**k. I just don't get it. Your more confusing then a female.
