Well, up bright and early (ish!) for a drive on this lovely sunny day to be met by that familiar flat battery sound. I've only been out once since the meet, so I've put it on charge to see whether it's just flat as opposed to knackered.
Given the battle I've had to do that, how the hell do you get the battery out! Do you get at it from behid the drivers seat?

Don't charge it with the battery connected or else you will blow one of the fuses on the bulk head. This is what I did !
Changing the battery is no small job. The first problem is getting a jack to fit under the car. If you can find one then jack it up and then be prepared to spend at least one hour or more laying on your back wrestling the thing out and back in again. I know....

AcuMate - just sits in the cubby hole with the fuses; lead with plug sits in the front map holder. Couldn't be simpler. Other makes don't need to be plumbed-in and can charge via the cigarette lighter. Battery charger should come as standard on a Noble.
When I had my Elise I bought one of these as the battery would go flat in about 2 weeks:

Haven't had much need to use it on the Noble as the battery lasts much longer, but may plug it in if we get a few weeks of bad weather.

Yes, you need a standard 3-pin 240V socket. Most people who use battery conditoners will garage their cars, and so use power from a socket in the garage.
