the m400 seats will fit - not sure if they are comfy or not - not spent enough time in one

M400 seats have proved comfy for me and 'she who must be obeyed' who has a back problem. We have done many 4 and 5 hour journeys with no discomfort at all. Thank goodness or she'd be after me to sell it

Dont think so, the tunnel in the M400 is narrower..........suppose i could be wrong though.
I think this is to reduce the offset with the pedals but there may also be width issue...

I find the M400 seats incredibly uncomfortable. I am 6'4'' and apparently wide-hipped although not fat. The seats put too much pressure on my upper thighs causing pain after about 30mins of driving...in other words they are too deep for me. I solved the problem by using a sloped cushion which raises me up a bit. Now I can sit on them for hours. Only problem now is my head touches the roof!

Alex - did you try tilting the seats forwards? That should relieve pressure on thighs. Bit of a mission to change the seat position but might be worth it if it makes it more comfortable and stops you wearing the roof-liner away!

Hi Rob,
No I haven't tilted the seats...didn't know this was possible. What is involved?
Look at the front of the seat and you'll see four (?) holes in an arc that hold the seat onto the frame. Unbolt the two bolts at the front and you can pivot the seat on the two at the back to a new position.
To do that, jack up the side of the car. Undo the four bolts that you see coming through the tray and that will release the seat.
You can't really get to the front bolt next to the tunnel without taking the seat out I'm afraid, but it's not that hard to undo the four bolts underneath the car.
