Hya hope you are all well.
i have owned my M12 GTO-3 since September of last year and am throughly enjoying it, they are a fantastic car, i still have that smile on a daily basis. I have recently moved further out of London and I commute to work every day and am averging 60 miles a day, when i bought the car from the guys @ Mole Valley, it had 14,500 miles on a 03 with no track use, now its just over 20,000, now the question is, I am looking to sell the car in April to get another Noble but I want the 3R. I have been thinking about buying a cheap runaround to get me to work and back to save the mileage on the Noble, but its so nice to drive its hard to let go. So chaps do you think i should buy a cheapy or would you keep using the Noble, also if i was to sell in April and lets say the milage is 23-25,000 then what sort of money would it be worth, if its in mint condition
Your thoughts on this would be appricated.

I got a job in October that requires 75 miles a day. Got a crappy runaround to do it as the roads I take are in the country and awful. I find leaving the Noble in the garage for the week is great in that it makes you really appreciate the weekend. Plus with the weather being dodgy it makes me smile to think she's tucked away nice and warm from the horrid rain and associated dirt/spray. Plus I can claim 40p per mile and never get near that with my fuel-efficient runaround, so I'm quids in too. Hurragh!
However, there is the flip side in that by the time the weekend comes you're almost wetting yourself to get back in the Noble!
I guess it depends on spec [LSD, TDS, 6 Speed Box] how quick you want to sell it and what the market/competition's like at the time. At the moment, trade seems to be about £30k. Private sale wise, there's a 20,000 mile with an engine rebuild for £29k. Another at 20,000 miles at £28k So I guess somewhere around £27.5 in 3 months with 24,000 miles would seem logical place to start..?

Don't tell the tax man you're getting reimbursed for your commute!
Back on thread .. Why not spend the money on tweaking your 3 - you know the car and would get more Ooomph per £ for sure.

These cars don't seem to sell well. Same ones appear on trader/pistonheads for months on end. I've been looking for one for 6 months with around 25-27k of cash to spend. But alot of sellers really aren't prepared to negociate on price even when its a buyers market. I'm not talking a massive dip on price but we all have to take some hit when we sell. Maybe its a Noble thing who knows lol. I'll just keep looking and having sleepless nights TILL I GET ONE!!!!!!!!

They will shift quick enough come Spring/Early Summer. I was looking early last last year and there seemed to be lots not selling, then what seemed like inside a month most had gone and I had to wait 6 months before anything close to what I wanted came along.

I agree with Humpy they do sell much better in spring/summer, hence why i might sell mine in April, plus mine will have warranty on it, 1 years worth, not that i have touch wood needed it. Also i bought mine in September last @ 34K so dont fancy a drop down to 27K after 8 months. if i do then i might not get another noble but and this is a big but, there are alot of different nobles on the market with different specs, some good some bad.
