Hmmm, not enough detail in the photos - just a disguised Esprit (even down to the Ancient Mariner door mirrors!).

Good luck the them - I wonder if it'll beat the mythical Noble M1X to the market?

engine is based on a bmw lump !!

Most of the "renderings" of the new Esprit I've seen show the car looking like a Gallardo with Elise features grafted (Photochopped) on. For example:



The car in the link at the top of this thread is a test mule based on the old car, much the same as the M15 test mule which wore M12 clothes.

Think I'd much prefer normally aspirated rather than forced induction on a V8.

The engine still isn't decided apparently, which is why it's now 2009 (or 2010 if you believe other rumours). It was originally mooted in Autocar (3rd Feb, 2004) to be available in 2005.......

Have managed to nab it from Hazel a couple of times for a drive and am seriously impressed !
