My son is preparing for his school prom on the evening of June 22nd (Friday after Le Mans) and has asked if I could try to get two Nobles to take him & his date to the venue. Apparently my Aston will be far too common to turn up in

Anyone able to accomodate? I'd obviously buy you a beer or two as required (at Le Mans the week before?). The prom is in Henley on Thames.

I'm pretty close to you, so I'd be happy oblige.

I'll still have my LeMans stickers and dirt on the car (can't wash it off for at least a month, you know the score !).

Thanks Jools, fantastic. Really great of you.

Tom's not coming to LM this year as he's got his GCSE's to work on. Hence the end of school prom. Will discuss logistics over a BBQ chez moi at LM?

Hey Dan.

Been a while!

Can't oblige on the Noble front (having sold the M400 when I thought the M15 was imminent), but if you're looking for uncommon then I'll happily offer the Radical SR3 services if he can stand the wind in the hair look (suspect his date will not consider this acceptable!)... and if it's raining the 355 can be the wet-weather back-up.

I'm just over at Oxford so not too far a run, but if there are any speed bumps the Radical is not an option (8cm ground clearance!). Also, don't think a late night return is viable - no lights on any of the Radical dials - still don't know how they passed the SVA with that!

But I understand if he really wants a Noble - I do - I'll have to keep pestering Lee, but I doubt the M15/MXX will be ready by June!

Scott.

Ah - the boy's got taste I think I may be able help with a Noble delivery to the prom. I am not too far from you and have a 2.5 GTO in Portofino Blue. Drop me a mail with contact details if you wish.

Hi Scott, long time no speak indeed. Good to hear from you and thanks for the offer. I'll ask him when he's back home and let you know (out robbing old granny's in his hoody at the moment, or whatever 16 year olds do these days). If not, can I have a go in the Radical

Hi Humpy and many, many, thanks. I'll drop you an email shortly. We're now embarrassingly overwhelmed with good-hearted Noble owners Are you going to Le Mans this year?

Potifino blue is one of the best colours (second only to Indigo ) IMHO.

Danny - shouldn't be a problem. I'll pop it in the diary when I get back - I'll come straight from Sky so dead easy to get to you.

Ha ha! he has already been in my car at a VMAX session (I think you came in a jag then!!!) unfortunatly I should be in a 997 GT3 by then so probably far too common. . . I do remember my GPS had gone mad and indicated a top speed of 1941MPH before we even started - so I won!!!
