Price hike on Noble in ads!
Discussion
Jim,
I think you will find it's called "Supply v Demand"
Now that news has broken of M12 production stopping, Demand for this icon will only increase as they become more sought after. Hence, expect to see prices for used examples increase.
My advice: Better get into the Noble marque sooner rather than later. You won't regret it.
Cheers,
Ian.

supply and demand-hmmm 27-28k is about right price for private sale. Would you buy a car that had gone up 4k overnight?? Personally think its now way overpriced at stealer prices.
Have you seen how many threads are posted about looking to buy a Noble?
Have you seen how few Nobles there are currently for sale?
Can you imagine a Noble owner wanting to give their P&J away at a price that they know they could have got more for?
It's all about the current market, fuel goes up when Blair speaks, new car prices decrease when they have to get rid of their stock at the end of the year. Everything is priced in relation to the current market and demand. So maybe you've been a bit unlucky and missed the recession in Noble used prices.
(look at me all high and mighty. i'll get off my box now
) And personally I still think around £30k for one of the best drivers cars in the world is a steal, mid to high 20's I thought was just stupid prices. Have you driven one? It may change your perception on the price.
(and by the way I don't I own a Noble so I am not defending the honour or price of my car)

Believe me, prices for used M12's will firm up very quickly. £ for £ there is still very little that can deliver what the M12 does.
Spring is just around the corner, people who have been thinking about getting into Nobility have less choice as there are no more new cars are being built. I would expect to see the ticket prices for any in Dealer showrooms to go up, and private owners to ask more.
Very well maintained M12's will be an investment.
Cheers,
Ian.

Demand is increasing for a number of reasons..
Spring is oficially here and the dry(er)weather is coming.
I for one will not part with my M400 unless..
A. Someone pays me what I think it's worth.
B. Another VERY special car with better dynamics handling and grin inspiring grip becomes available (of the same type).
C. I write it off :0(.
Buy one now before it's too late.

So don't buy it. J
Dear Jimmy,
Looks like what's called the "market effect". Bet you wish you'd bought it when it was overpriced at 28K?
You can stillmake an offer on mine;
2001
one owner
regularly serviced
maintained regardless of cost

Paul C
Of course the good examples will be worth their money but everything depreciates. If someone wants to add on 4k to his car its his business but when i got in touch with guy a few months back he couldn't shift it simple as.
Maybe he'll get lucky who knows. All i know is its a buyers market regardless of make/model. Honest to god i must sound like a right moaner lol. I will get into Nobility god dammit but am not getting shafted in the process. I'll take Jo Pasquale's tune on the matter IF 'the price is right'.

Ian.

Not 'everything' depreciates, for example: a Ferrari F40 was £193,000 back in 1987, but would cost over £200,00 if you bought a used one today!

Well mines still for sale!!!!
Do you still have the original wheels - personally I'm not too keen on the black ones (assuming I've got the right ad) and I'm wondering if that's the issue. The photo you have of it in your profile has the originals that (to me) make it look really really nice. Only my opinion tho.....
Hopefully the approach of the good weather will get you some activity.

There are the originals - they have just been re-painted in a different colour - nothing to stop you sanding them and painting them again! - being black theough they don't show the brake dust!!!
