Found one insurer who wanted to take me on, but after 6 weeks the goalposts have been changed and the premium has gone up to over 2k and the excess has gone up to 1k (changing to a 3r with extra 4k on value has not helped). No trackday cover either. Anyone have some people or places to try out. i have 6 points and 3 week suspension since May 04

Do a search on the forum for insurance, there are a few out there that cover nobles. I use privilege.

Tesco covered me with 9 points (3 TS10 and 6 CD10) + a couple of fault accidents.

Thanks. I did a search before i posted. Priv are same as direct line IIRC and only cover 2 convictions. Tesco now only cover 2 convictions and 2 claims. Tried nearly every specialist i can think of, and nearly all the ones that advertise on here. This is why i added the 3 conviction part to my question Blinking pain in the ass. Will try A Plan again later, although when i last tried for a quote they coudn't remember to call me back. Waiting for Pearl to contact me.
Also for one policy i need a written conformation that the car has got a cat 1 alarm immob fitted. Do i have to contact the factory for this? Cheers

Direct Line were pretty reasonable given I've got 6 points, 7 week ban and a write off in 1.5 years!

Again Direct line only allow 2 convictions online. Will try calling these companies instead of using internet. Cheers All

Tesco, Direct line, etc etc all only cover 2 convictions UNLESS it is repeat business, then they will cover.

Try A-plan, although I'm about to renew with Virgin they were 100pound cheaper and intrest free for 10 months. I got it down to 975 age 25 with 5Years NCB on a 2.5gto.
