Do I require some special battery gents or just the run of the mill you can't bend it halfords battery???
Ever since she ran flat from when i was away she won't hold her charge anymore. Once charged it will start but leave it over night even without the alarm on and she still won't turn over in morning.

Don't forget that all decent batteries should come with a 3+ year warranty so check yours.

If it wont hold it's charge then it's had it. I replaced mine with a 4-year halfords one. The car can now happily sit for at least a week and it still fires first turn. Buying it is easy, fitting it.....
As i'll be buying the battery before i take the old one off is there any part numbers etc i need to quote. Or just one for a ford???
