...to Team Nobility in the epic race that is the 2 hour Club100 Rookie Endurance go-kart Race tomorrow (Sunday).

I hope the weather holds up for you this time, and that no nappies have to be worn.

And I expect to see photos of those involved proudly holding the 1st place trophy tomorrow night . Team "I Can't Believe it's Not Button" have nothing on you guys.

Cheers Mikey_p, weather looks good. We'll give 'em hell. Obviously we're too self effacing to post pics of us winning the trophy, but if there are any other good shots we'll put them up.

Thanks Mike!

Just dusting off my Pro race suit and applying the Club 100 decals to my professional race helmet!

Looking forward to it.

If anyone lives near Northants (Whilton Locks kart track NN11 5NH) and could get to the race track with kit (can be hired) and is bloody fast in a kart, when please call me on 07803 016607 asap as one of our team has had a mishap and may not be able to make it.

You'll need to be at the track by noon.

3rd seat filled now - a Tivver driver, for goodness sake! If we keep braking down, we'll know who to blame

Well as previously stated we're far too modest to put up pics of us winning the trophy. So you'll have to trust us when we say we did brilliantly. Unfortunately this wasn't quite reflected in the final position - but wot the heck. OK so 22/24 dosn't sound great, but we had a lot of fun. I'm not sure that I'm going to be able to move tomorrow. First dry day in these Karts and they were just phenomenal -really. guys, just about one of the best things you can do with your clothes on.

I thought we were 20th out of 24? Definatly 4th up from the bottom of the final list? Or was I imagining that?

I think we did very well considering.

Still not sure where the front runners find those extra 2 seconds a lap though! Serious skill for the rookie class!

But as Rob says, 70mph with your butt 3 inches off the tarmac and cornering forces which leave your neck muscles aching is about the best fun you can have on 4 wheels.

I couldn't stop grinning whilst nailing the apexs!

Roll on Sunday 15th April!!

Well I'll go to the bottom of the stairs!! Just peeked at the official results and we came 21st out of 24 in Round 2 yesterday and are sitting 20/27 in overall standing (2 races).
Our fastest lap was 2 secs off the first place driver -but, hey, (lists excuses) first ever drive on a dry outside track and never been round that circuit before. So I'm not complaining. Must go and rest my fingers now -even they are sore..

Between two blokes helmets again I bet you....

A finger. Real men break collar bones. Bloddy bunch of poofs running around with that much padding on you. Try playing a real game. Like rugby.

God this thread has gone downhill. I really regret starting it now, i'm feeling slightly queezy hurl.

Does anyone have a number for a good child psychologist? I feel I may need one for my under developed child-like mind hehe.
