Front Splitter detatchment

So there we were at, say, v=2.1 + huge graunching noise vibrations from the front (clam shimmying like beyonce's a4se) then ... detatchment.

Scary moment.

I can't see any damage at all but there's a slight "doing" from the mid n/s somewhere when turning hard right.

Might just be a loose floor pan plate (I can see a screw dangling).

Just in case anyone else heard this?

PS Sorry to have missed you at the Ace - house guests and Clay shooting intervened - a perfect day for it.

Jools was talking about a similar thing that happened to him on the way back from LeMans.

I found that the shelves at the front of my garage were pretty effective at removing the front splitter !

Yep...and I went over it at about 130mph!
