Are Nobles practical enough to use as an only car?

Are they reliable enough?
Can I fit a sports holdall worth of clothes in it?
Are they hard work to drive around town etc?

Bearing in mind that:

1. I currently have an Esprit
2. I currently worked about and am home less than 90 days a year.

If the 90 days workshop time doesn't co-incided with the holiday you'll be fine mate..

I hope that comment wasn't as a reaction to the above comment by 2priestsferrari, meaning you'll steer clear. IF that poster has ever owned a Noble I'd be very surprised as, while all cars have problems from time to time a Noble is no worse than any other similar car. And I certainly wouldn't listen to a poster slagging off one make when he has Ferrari in his moniker, or has only made 13 posts on PH.
It is well within reason to have a Noble as an only car...it's possible to get two people and a weekends luggage in one with no problems. If you read this forum you'll find a group of owners that are very positive about the marque, I for one can not see myself selling mine...it's too good...and what could possibly replace it for less than £150,000?

I certainly didn't take your post here seriously...if you new anything about Nobles you wouldn't have said what you did....but, unlike you, I took the OP's question seriously. What makes you think it's right to imply a car needs 90 days downtime to someone asking if the car is usable as an everyday ride when you patently know the next best thing to bu66er all about them?

You are quite right Dan, but even so at £105 it's almost double what I paid for the Noble.

Well back to topic..

I've owned a Noble for a year now and used it as an everyday car,
in rain snow and ice aslong as you drive off boost it's fine..
Steering lock within town is noticable but by no means a problem.
Speed bumps are not an issue.. obviously there are some in awkward inclines/declines which can be touch and go but generally there are no problems.
I've spent only £1500-2000 on the car (exc.fuel) on repairs and service (inc. MOT)
the car has spent no more than 10days off the road during this time.

There is no way I'm going to even consider a different car of simalar performance and value for money, because there is no such thing imho.
GoodLuck finding your Noble... You won't regret it.

Mine too. I've had it for 2 years and have just dropped it off at Crazy horse racing for its 3rd annual service. There is a list of little things that I want doing at the same time, but none of them are serious and none affect the cars roadworthyness.

Juts as reliable as any other handbuilt sports car IMO.

I'll be keeping my Esprit for a while yet, until I kill it probaly but I'm definately interested in a Noble for my next car.

I think you'll find that's the same with any high performace supercarr, no matter if it's Noble/Porsche
/Lotus/Ferrari/Lambo or whatever. Remind all us again what supercar you drive ?
