I have now fot the upgraded M400 fuel pump and a Roush exhaust system. It all works a dream and goes like a rocket. But the pump is very noisey.
Has anyone moved their pump or sound insulated it. Where's the best place for it ? If I wrap the pump in some flame retardant foam, is there any issue with the pump overheating ?

Thanks
Andy

Make sure its not flat. They can get air in them so they are best when mounted upright or at an angle.

It is normal.

Especially as the fuel runs down.

When you start, prime the pump twice, so ignition, wait for the pump to prime, then switch off and do it again.

This does not get rid of the noise completely, but it helps.

If it annoys you, then when it starts making the noise, increase the pressure of your right foot until the noise of the engine drowns it out.

TADTS and see above.

Wait until it's warm - if you are lucky you'll get a set of bees to accompany the whirring noise
