Dodgy clam retaining screw
Discussion
The screw nearest the driver's side on the front clam keeps popping up and I can't seem to make it stay put. Looks fine and the 50 yards down the road and up it pings up. Better it happens on the front that the back.....but I don't like to leave it that way in case it gives ideas to the chaverati. How easy are they to replace, and where from? It could be the screw or the retaining part.

Take a look under the fixing on the chassis. It gets full of dirt from the road and so the catch does not latch into place.
Also, check the 'T' bar on the screw fixing. The center bar car bend, or move off center and so keeps popping out.
Once it's clean, put some grease in the hole (so to speak) and it should be ok for a while.

Thanks for that. I'll give it a try as you suggest.
