now the m15 has been shelved the new noble will be.........
Discussion
Reading between the lines of the latest press releases, it would seem the new noble company has decided to shelve the m15!!
Perhaps for the reasons discussed on numerous occasions here and also no doubt the American will want his car built rather than
The rushed incarnation instructed by the previous investors.
This is where the educated guessing game starts;
The M16 /600 will be a far more exciting car.
Engine; a proven reliable v8, blown, producing circa 600bhp..
Gearbox; carried over from m15
Body; more curves specially the back end probably more like the m14.
interior; no ford escort stuff . all bespoke quality, simple no gagets.
Weight; no more than 1100kg possibly made of composites/carbon
Price; not exceeding £90k specd up.
On sale this year, deliveries spring next year.
M15 deposits carried over
If the above came to pass then I for one would be interested!
Anyone with any thoughts as to the likelihood of such a car coming out next???
Regards

I should think Lee Noble and Mr Dyson are the only two with any clear knowledge of whats going to happen.
I for one, think that NOT producing the natural progression of the M12 would be a disasterous mistake. Without doing that, they are effectivly just starting another new car company. I find it amazing that they don't think a Mark 2 M12 would be the best bet. Seems daft to totally bypass their current loyol customer base with a car that many of them will not be able to afford, or will not want to track.
They have such a fantastic platform to produce a new car on the same format as the M12, but simply with,
* New clams with a cohesive and aggressive design. (poss in CF?)
* New engine layout as seen in M15 and mule.
* New interior, just revised and tweakes with mods we'd all like. (ie. centre air vents) (how simple's that!!)
* All the little niggles and mods done.
* £55-60k as per M12 mk1.
Do this = sell 250 cars per year in UK again, then sell to US etc etc etc.
I know that Lee and the team read these pages, I just still pray that they are listening and not just reading.
(with all due respect intended Sir)
Who knows, maybe I'd even order a new one and put some proper £££ into the companies pockets.

don't think there is any chance of the mk11 m12 seeing the light of day until the new car
is launched, built and deemed a sucess. only then might New Noble rekindle the m12. do not forget Noble has already said the market had been "saturated" with the 1000 or so m12 already built.
the new car will also only be built in small numbers they are talking 50-80 units a year.

So far looks like the m600 is not too popular amongst the existing noble faithful!
The reality is that the new car might be positioned to capture a different market looking more to steal a few Porsche, Ferrari or Audi sales
A fraction of a % of these would keep the company going @ say 80 units a year.
I think the days of a sub 60k Noble are gone for good, even if New Noble reincarnate the m12 at some time In the not too distant future.
Are there M15 deposit holders out there that might switch and wait for the new car ??

Lets hope he has some plans to start racing a "new" noble, would be good for the name to get some racing pedigree behind it.

Well, if it means anything I was at the factory last Friday and saw an M15 being sprayed through a half open door.
Somebody then confirmed to me that I did see an M15 in the workshop and that the "new car" would be something very special indeed and surprise quite afew people.
I know none of that means anything, just thought I'd share it.
