There are not any...

factory recomend to remove the pipe of the rad going to the expansion tank (remember to have the heater control on hot) then fill from the expansion till it runs clear.
Reconnect pipe run engine with cap off for a bit then put cap on. leave it running till fans come on(keeping an eye on the temp) then let it cool down then check level in the expansion tank.

If i run it without the cap wont i just cause more problems? Sorry for the dumb questions. Could you explain which pipe you meant smile

Slightly off topic, but does anyone know what the expansion tank is from? I've lost the cap from my 3R.

I changed the coolant on mine and just filled it up from the expansion tank. Left it half hour and filled it again, started the engine and let it warm up whilst keeping the level topped up. Waited for the fans and then left it overnight and topped up next morning, been perfect since.

Think Mondeo ... when I did the same I'm sure I bought a ford part.
