Hi everyone, I've just taken delivery of a GTO3 and I'm just in the process of running it in (self control has never been so difficult! ). One of the little "upgrades" I'm considering is brighter headlamp bulbs as the standard items are a little on the dull side (or maybe it's my eyesight! ).

I've seen some in Halfords that claim to be 50% brighter than standard 55W ones. Has anyone fitted bulbs of this type? If so can you let me know the bulb type number and whether or not they actually live up to their claim? Cheers.

Welcome to the Noble fold !

I now use Philips "VisonPlus" after they were rec'd by another Noble owner. They make a BIG difference IMHO.

Thanks chaps. I've found the previous post and have ordered a couple of Philips Vision Plus H4's from www.powerbulbs.com - should be able to see where I'm going now

Re the Autocar day on the 4th. How do i go about booking in as your guest spectator ? The site doesn't seem to allow anything other than signing up for the track day itself ?

Cheers

Just email me your full name, address and age (I think that's all they wanted) and I'll ring them up and add you.

Oh - sorry - probably also need the car you'll be turning up in.

I upgraded headlight bulbs from Powerbulbs. Great service especially when I ordered H7s (as indicated in the drivers manual) only to find when I replaced them that the car is fitted with H4s. Powerbulbs replaced returned bulbs really quickly. Hope yours is fitted with H7s but worth checking the headlight itself as the manual seems a little out of date! Good news is the replacement bulbs are great!! Hope this helps.

I guess this has no doubt been talked about a lot. I've even started a thread on this myself !

Anyway, my 3R is getting serviced mid Feb and I'm going to get the bulbs replaced. Fed up driving down the back lanes with exceptionally poor vision at night.

Has anyone changed the dipped and full beam bulbs for improved vision, if so what did you use and where did you order from ?(H4's, H7's?)

Remember that you can also just "adjust" them up a few turns or so, that improves things a lot without annoying other road users...
