Yes, well, you might have a point there. Amazingly the missus was not happy at the top speed !! I mean, I managed 160 which is what you would expect, but 175 seems more respectable.

I know this sounds like excuses but :- the problem is that this isn’t what my Noble was designed for, as you can see it accelerates like a rocket but after about ¾ of a mile it starts to hold back in 5th and 6th gear. The reason is that it is on full throttle for a very long time causing the charge temperature to rise, the ecu see’s this and pulls spark out and throws some more fuel in making it go flat.

I might go for water injection just for this willie waving contest, it would be nice to see a Noble do 200.
