Just popped over to the VMAX section to register for the August event, glanced at the results from this months VMAX and there's AdrianW at 187mph. Holy moly My early build 3R did around 160mph in 2004 so to get to 187mph you must rounded up a ranch-full of wild horses to squeeze under the bonnet. What on earth have you had done? Any dyno plots?

That's seriously impressive.

PS - please can I have a passenger ride if you're going to VMAX in August?

I think he has around 500 wild horses that he purchased from Roush!!!

OT, spoke to Graham today, believe we might be meeting up soon to have a new "mod" done at the same time.

My 3 ( with 6spd / lsd ) did 160 last weekend so that's about right then. More power is required.

No, not quite, iv'e sorted all of the mechanical issues and it is going into the bodyshop soon to sort the new front clam and the dodgy paintwork.

Well hopefully once that's done you can put it behind you and enjoy the car. Hope it hasn't spoilt it for you.
