Will a standard Ford ST220 gearbox fit a Noble?

Ineresting, here's advert for a Ford ST220 gearbox suggested for Noble implant but didn't Lee Noble experience early 3R delays with the early 6-speed boxes because he was having delays due to a faulty batch of mods by Ford Germany?
