they are a completely different shape. think the wraparound contour is not the same so it looks nigh on impossible for htem to fit

I had the similar idea, unfortunately the available aftermarket Mondeo MK1 lights all appear to be for the 5 door hatch and not for the 4 door saloon.

The MK1 4 door saloon lights lights are fitted to the Noble.

go onto some mondeo owners sites and you would easily get 10 orders.

They look chav! redcardvomit anyway I doubt you'll find anyone interested with a four door saloon,
They were pretty far and few between with the vast majority of Mk1 mondeo's being hatches.
Why not proposition Marcos with a bulk order for some TSO lights?
Maybe if they get a big enough order they might just turn over a new leaf and stop bullscensoredting
everyone rolleyes

This has been tried many times over the years. There are 2 main companies who manufacturer the lights (aftermarket ones) and they'll both tell you that they'll make some for a 10 set min. order. But once you've got the 10 people in and paid, they'll either say that they can't actually do it, they now need 25 sets min or that tooling has gone up and they are now £399 a set.

Pain in the butt really! I think art411y's idea of tinting just the top section looks great. I really like it as a super cheap way to make the lights look a bit smarter.

Hope you don't mind me posting this again Artie,

Gotta better idea - leave 'em alone. After all only those fortunate enough to be following you can see then - you can't (I said can't Gregor)! biggrin

Update on the Marcos Lights.

Having just spoken to them this is the latest.

The supplier they originally used is no longer able to supply them , and they are in dispute with them.
The tooling hasn't been returned to Marcos , therfore they are not yet in a position to source an alternative supplier.

so I reckon its fair to assume that these will not be available for some months yet...

"They look chav!"

maybe a touch , but better than plain sad originals IMHO !

anyway , if DG are going to make a new light , perhaps they could be done all in a light tint like the marcos units.

At £125 it's gotta be worth a go ... even as a temporary solution until the marcos one's are available

Can we have a show of interest towards the 10 needed for a run ?
