To split or not to split!

I've noticed that a few Nobles I have seen have had the front splitter removed....
Is this just for clearance sake and does it effect the stability of the car at speed???

the m400 doesn't have one fitted as standard

As a choice we have never had ours fitted - purely on a clearance basis. I haven't noticed any deterioration in handling @ Speed.

I've always felt that the splitter gives the clam a bit of extra protection and early warning on the odd "contact" occasions.

I used the big shelves at the front of my garage to remove my splitter.....
