Wheel hub question - Urgent!

I'm borrowing a set of the older style 2.5 slave wheels for the 3R whilst I get mine refurbed. Mine came off the hubs cleanly but when I put the bolts back in with the 2.5 wheels on there was friction (ie: the bolts went in tight)...

Are the wheel hub and stub patterns the same for all Nobles?

If it's anything like the M400 you need to take the centres of 2.5 wheels out (the bit that the wheel nut cover attaches to), otherwise the wheel will sit proud (not good).

Thanks Justin, seems to be OK now - I torqued the bolts up a bit lighther just in case and am only driving it to MV once.
